“Exploration is intrinsic to us and empowers us to follow inner knowing.
Filter all information through a wise heart—rooted in Her.”

As the sun begins to drop lower in the sky and the night grows chilly and dark, before our eyes take hold of the bright colors of change, our bodies tell us that the energy of summer is shifting.

The Autumn Equinox is a meaningful time of year to harvest the seeds of growth. Whether that be a “real” harvest of the things planted in your garden or the harvest of prior efforts, prayers, inquiries, dharma, and intentions for growth and healing on your life path.

Our external life is often a metaphor of much that has gone before us, both the conscious and unconscious aspects of the collective fabric of existence.

I’ve progressed to walking with crutches. My buff arms are evidence. Healing consumes so much of my focus and energy. It is hard to imagine the capacity required to support my twins in their healing journey over the past twenty-four years. Today, I cherish this extended downtime to rest and heal, and marvel at the mysterious magic of life.

When the trajectory of our lives takes an unexpected turn of injury, illness, loss, heartbreak, it is always initially challenging. When we reach out for help or plunge into our bodies to explore and feel what is arising, doors open for even deeper explorations, unraveling’s that invite radical interior shifts. In this sense ‘radical’ means to go to the ‘root’ of who we are—where shifts and awakenings uncover true power and gifts that shed light and meaning on our circumstances. Our freedom is no longer about ‘freedom from’ but ‘freedom to…” accept, receive, engage, choose, set a boundary, etc.

Each exploration is nourishment for a bountiful harvest. As I take one step at a time forward, I do not know the next step. I savor each step and the opportunity for personal transformation. I feel energetic shifts rippling within our human family with the potential to heal cultural messages that are injurious to our human family.

“The changing seasons carry messages from the rhythms of life in nature, and within each rhythm, many ancient cultures perceive a powerful deeper message from our earth mother. We’re here to listen.”

Indigenous cultures recognize mother-earth-based wisdom and understand that the four focal points of the year: the Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, and Autumn Equinox; illuminate phases of our inner spiritual journeys—a spiritual cycle that each individual spirals through within our bodies.

The autumn equinox arrives on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Join us in birthing the new at this online event for all genders: Tending Birth Canal of Earth Soul.
