COVID-19 Safety Policies and Procedures for Retreat Participants

In order for Prajna O’Hara to reduce the risk of viral transmission on-site, we appreciate your partnership in following these guidelines. It is not possible to eliminate the risk of transmission entirely and any participants must acknowledge this in advance. These policies are designed to reduce the instances of transmission where possible.

Before You Arrive

Review the COVID-19 Safety Policies in this document. You are responsible for being up to date, and following all guidelines for your state of residence. Please do not arrive early for retreat. If you are sick, experiencing symptoms, have a fever, or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, you are not permitted to come on retreat. Please email or call (831) 334-4051 as far in advance as possible to let us know. If you are attending a retreat in Europe, please contact the team member in your location that is assisting Prajna. Our retreats are small. We would like time to fill your space. Thank you.

We require all retreat participants to clear yourself with a negative test result in the event you have been exposed. Please restrict all exposure until retreat. See the CDC website for additional health measures.

Upon Arrival

Please leave any personal belongings not essential for retreat in your car. All personal items should be contained within a bag. Wash your hands immediately upon arrival.

No person will be admitted into the space who:

  1. Is sick or showing symptoms related to Covid-19 (take your temperature in advance).
  2. Has been in close contact with a known Covid-19 case within 14 days.
  3. Has a body temperature of 100.0 or higher.
  4. Has not agreed to our Covid-19 policy.
  5. Is unaware of or unwilling to follow all safety policies.

NO REFUNDS will be provided to participants who are asked to leave for not following our safety policies. However, any participant who does not come in because they are showing symptoms of COVID-19 or because they have come in contact with a known COVID-19 case within the past 14 days WILL be subject to our refund policy. This allows your deposit to be transferred to another retreat or to receive a refund less $50 admin fee when we fill your space.

During Retreat

The facility will be well ventilated and cleaned on a regular basis. You are expected maintain a healthy distance. We will continually disinfect shared surfaces and equipment.
